Jennifer Aniston joins the chorus of “Friends” cast members paying tribute to the late Matthew Perry. The actress took to her verified Instagram account on Wednesday morning to share her emotions, following tributes from fellow co-stars Matt LeBlanc and Courteney Cox the previous day.

Perry passed away on October 28 at the age of 54.

Aniston’s Instagram post featured a photo capturing a moment of laughter between her and Perry, a screenshot of a heartfelt text he had sent her, and a video clip showcasing an emotionally touching scene between their characters on “Friends.”

In the caption, Aniston expressed the profound impact of saying goodbye to Perry, describing it as “an insane wave of emotions that I’ve never experienced before.” She acknowledged the universality of loss but emphasized the unique depth of her grief.

“Being able to really SIT in this grief allows you to feel the moments of joy and gratitude for having loved someone that deep. And we loved him deeply,” she wrote. “He was such a part of our DNA. We were always the 6 of us. This was a chosen family that forever changed the course of who we were and what our path was going to be.”

The shared photo of Aniston and Perry sharing laughter was accompanied by a text from Perry himself, expressing, “Making you laugh just made my day. It made my day :).” Aniston revealed that Perry believed his life depended on hearing that laughter and succeeded in making everyone laugh hard.

In the poignant weeks following Perry’s passing, Aniston reflected on their text exchanges, alternating between laughter and tears. She expressed her intention to cherish those messages forever.

Aniston conveyed her enduring love for Perry, noting that she “talks” to him daily and believes he is “completely at peace and out of any pain.”

“Rest little brother,” she concluded her post. “You always made my day…”
